I think top is definitely the weakest lane still, but the champions that often go to that lane are busted. Just take Illaoi for example, champ is stupid as fk to deal with and had way more impact being mid than she would've top just passively. Nasus, who also traditionally goes top, is also way stronger mid than top rn just because the impact is much stronger.

illoi is a strange champion. Legit had one that built full tank and had 50k damage in a 25 min game. Wild.
challenging games like this is a good show to watch
top lane has the most broken champions but they still buff sett and nerf vex.

You really ought to try hybrid MF, taking Essence Reaver, Mandate / Everfrost, statikk Shiv, Rabadons, Infinity edge and collector (6 cause she doesn't actually need boots late game).
You do insane damage, with 80% crit, getting bonus AP from each item, ontop of the % from Rabadons, mana sustain and max crit damage. You have something around 350 AP and 300 AD

That's not hard, Vex is ridiculously op. Even a noob can carry a game with her.
no matter how fed you are a tank always beats a mage? no matter how fed you are you cant outscale a tank in league, that's how pathetic the game turned out to be.
Illaoi is my constant ban in top lane because she's so broken and makes the lane dull. You're constantly dodging her grabs, you can't engage her if she has tentacles, you can't get a gank because her ult lets her 1v5, you can't roam because she'll solo push all your towers because, like I said you can't get a gank…
I play her every now and then to remind myself how disgusting she is.
