I have a question about merc runewords and wonder if you would recommend a helmet for my freeze mercenary from act 2. If it matters Im a druid, and my plan is to equip him with an insight and a duress, though some people recommend treachery. Is there a helm runeword that i should equip on him?
Is it normal for the oak sage to disappear if you weapon swap?

What stats should the flail have? I have 50 percent to undead and that's it. Should I look for a better flail? Or does it matter with the runeword?
Dumb question here but would Hoto be useful to a smite din with the extra attack ratings? Or do those stats only apply to the weapon itself. I plan on resetting my hammerdin to a smite din for Uber runs

Just made one last night after I found a Vex. Only 31 all resists. My hammerdin is loving it. I'll wait til I find an occy for my blizz sorc.
My buddy plays a hammerdin but may switch to smite at some point. Should we be using a Scourge/Knout as a base for this weapon, or does it not really matter?

It's only drawback is that it's only useful in flails. If only it could be made in hammers too it would have a little variation to choose from…

This item is why you need to bring a MAXED out Oak Sage or Wolverine with you as a druid. Wind or Fire if you really want fire spells with a few points of wolves as meat shields. Druid really has only one build lol. 🍁🌪(🔥)🐺

I need the vex rune to finish my heart of the oak. Should I keep running act 2 hell(Ancient tunnels) or should I rather run Mephisto/Diablo (Nightmare) for the oculus? I'd be fine with either weapon.
And yes, as you can see since I'm just running act 2 tunnels, I can't get past duriel….

Have not read all the comments. But I think you forgot the summon necro. This beats sprit. And you would get more out of the oak sages life on a army of skeletons and a golem who would probably have a huge life pool.

Just did my first 2 hell hellforges on my Hardcore blizz sorc and hdin, got an ist and Gul. Yesterday I got a Gul from a fallen one in Act 1 😂 just cubed my Guls and made this awesome runeword,m with 38 all res! 😁
