Not exactly sure how they're going to pull this off, Destiny scales way higher than Arknights, some random dreg in the cosmodrome could probably destroy Ishar'mla.

I actually disagree with some of your assessments on the factions.Cabal: Spot on. They ain't showing up. Maybe if this was in Destiny 1 when they still had some scouting legions going around looking for systems to conquer then we might see them.Fallen: More likely than you think. When their home world of Riis was decimated by the darkness a large amount of them chased after the Traveler. However smaller groups went out looking for other systems to try and rebuild on. I think there could be a story of a starving crew of Eliknsi landing on Terra and trying to use Originium to make their Ether (Basically their food) and that causing all sorts of bad stuff to happen. They are also Destiny's most iconic enemy, so I think odds are good that they'll be there.Hive: Probably not showing up. If nothing else yeah they don't do anything halfway. Either they don't show up or you're gonna get swarmed by hundreds of ships.Taken: Also probably not showing up. The Taken are an extension of the Darkness. These are basically their vanguard forces, so if you see them on Terra that means the Witness is on it's way and your planet is doomed. (Note: Right now there are only two known people that can use them effectively. Xivu Arath, the Hive God of War, and the Witness, Aka: The voice in the Darkness. Either one of these showing up on Terra would again spell doom for the planet.)Vex: Might show up but probably not. These Time Traveling Killer Robots can hop between space and time to swarm and overwhelm you. So very much the same reason that the Hive probably won't show up. If you have a Vex infestation it is going to take a lot of work to kick them out. Just ask Crota.Keep in mind this if the story is set on Terra. I could see a story involving the Star Horse, Xur, and the Dares of Eternity. Where Operators are paired with Guardians in the Multi Galactic game show to win fabulous prizes. Then all bets are off on who shows up.
